I think the current Civic SI looks excellent, especially in sedan form. I don’t even like the normal Civic, but something about it is just right with me. Of course the FoST is way better, but shh.

I’m patiently hoping these dive bomb in value (new generation civic and competition), the coupe especially, so I can pick up one for cheap in 2 years.

It is really nice, specially in Orange.

I love the Si, but the people who drive these around me drive like absolute dickheads.

My gf has a ‘13 Civic LX sedan. It’s meh-looking but otherwise a fine transportation appliance.

The Si doesn’t really improve much in the looks department, imho.

I dig the current gen Si in sedan form; I’m on the fence about the coupe. The rims could look a lot better though IMHO; but that’s an easy fix.

In Canada the Civic Si is one heck of a sport compact value if you ask me; for like $26.7K you get nav, heated seats and a sunroof. Option a Focus ST or a GTI the same way and you’re looking at ~$31k and ~$33k respectively. Are the ST & GTI better cars? Perhaps. But there’s no denying the Si’s value proposition and it should be more reliable to boot.

I still really like the 8th gen, especially the Mugen. Somebody has one around town.

I can’t get past the “refresh” rear tail lights... and the new wheels are kinda weird.. And I really wish they would sell it w/o a freaking sunroof so I could fit in the d@mn thing because I would probably buy one... You are making my life difficult, Honda.

I agree. I don’t normally have any desire for a civic Si but the current generation really pushes all the right buttons for me.

I love the wheels. they do look to big at stock ride height. the look great with a bit of a drop tho.

Kinja'd!!!

I think it’s pretty funny that VW has a simiar design now.. even if they do look better on the GTI

Me too, I wanted either the Mugen or a Galaxy Grey Si sedan with all of the HFP accessories.

Kinja'd!!!

I ended up settling for an LX :(
